On Wednesday June 12, 2017, Professor William Wagner presents God, Man, and the Constitution to the Federalist Society in Nashville, Tennessee.
In this presentation, Professor Wagner reviews the competing approaches to interpreting the Constitution. He then analyzes the impact of each approach on governance and the rule of law. With powerful examples from religious liberty cases he shows how originalism approaches lead to politically accountable good governance under the rule of law, while organic approaches lead to non-politically accountable judicial tyranny.
This exciting event takes place at the Hilton Homewood Suites – Downtown, 706 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37203. The festivities, that include lunch, begin at 11:45 a.m.
