Daniel L. Wright

Daniel oversees web design and social media strategy at Salt & Light Global. He is also a regular contributor to SLG Witness. Daniel’s passion for bringing the biblical perspective back to culture, looks to historical examples of courage and faith, as Cal put it, “We review the past not in order that we may return to it but that we may find in what direction, straight and clear, it points into the future.” The prophet says it best, “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it.” It is the pursuit of that good way, glaringly absent from so many homes and institutions in our generation, that will finally “find rest for our souls,” if we but restore it to its proper place once more.

Daniel serves as the CEO of a Florida-based web design company, Design Doctor LLC. Daniel holds degrees in both Biblical Studies and in Liberal Studies. He is the author of Keeping Cool on the Campaign Trail: 101 of “Silent” Cal’s Insights on Voting, Campaigning, and Governing. Since 2013 he has maintained a blog on the political philosophy of Calvin Coolidge called The Importance of the Obvious (www.crackerpilgrim.com), in an effort to underscore the moral and practical needs our culture and politics have for Coolidge’s very timely ideas today. Daniel and his wife, Mary, live in west central Florida.
