Filled with the NEW!

Colossians 1:9b-12 do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.

Philippians 3:13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead.

2016 is now in the rear view mirror. May we retain the lessons that we learned over the past 12 months and move into the new year with boldness and confidence grounded in the goodness of our heavenly Father. May we above all else draw near in fellowship to the God who loves us and holds us near to Him. Hopefully you have been experiencing renewal and refreshing over the Christmas and New Year holidays. May you continue to receive deep refreshing in the Holy Spirit as the new year dawns.

May the fresh wind of His promises embrace your heart. “That you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy.” Let us receive the full measure of this promise into our hearts, our minds, and our very lives.

• Filled with the knowledge of His will
• Filled with wisdom and understanding
• Walking worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him
• Fruitful in every good work
• Increasing in knowledge of God
• Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power.
• Patience, longsuffering with joy
