I have called upon You, for You will answer me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, hear my speech. Psalm 17:6
We have moved from a very divisive election to the holidays. The natural tendency will be to back off on intensity in prayer. It is more important than ever that we spend quality time with our heavenly Father.
Let us pursue His kingdom with a new and deepening intensity of spirit. In the depths of our being we are hungry for Him and we hunger for His purposes to be accomplished in the earth. He is our passion and our great desire. As we stoke the fire with his word our heart cry becomes yes Lord, and we are renewed in the declaration “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” We are deeply thankful in the small and in the great as we see God move to accomplish his eternal purposes.
We are being shown what it means to be His sons and daughters. We possess great blessing and favor to accomplish His purposes and so we press in, and press on. Our Father is good, and His desires toward us are good. We fix our eyes on the one who is ever open to hear our prayer, and to send help. Thank you Father that Jesus is on the throne. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you Father!
