In this Faith and Freedom Friday episode, SLG Executive Director Katherine Bussard gives an update on public policy matters at the state and federal level, introduces some new resources, and shares about the importance of the church in shaping the culture.
Katherine highlights a few items mentioned in this month’s Legislative Update, introduces SLG new Words that Work resource series, and previews this month’s Heroes of the Faith series that will highlight African-American believers who were used by God in extraordinary ways. She goes on to share about how history is truly a story of God’s faithfulness, and how the inspiring stories of believers who have gone before us can inspire Christians today to stand with courage and boldness. She concluded with the words of John Adams: “Let the pulpit resound with the doctrines and sentiments of religious liberty… Let us hear the dignity of his [man’s] nature, and the noble rank he holds among the works of God… Let it be known, that…liberties are not the grants of princes or parliaments.”
