“At 10:30AM on December 28, 2016, Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley, in his official capacity in the Governor’s absence, is scheduled to sign the the Fetal Tissue Ban into law, a pair of bills passed by the Michigan legislature in mid December. The Ban will strengthen existing state law and reaffirm the federal prohibition on knowingly participating in and profiting from the commercialization of infant body parts.
“William Wagner, President of Salt & Light Global, as well as the Great Lakes Justice Center team, organizations dedicated to the rule of law and the protection of constitutional rights, will be in attendance.”
