The Great Lakes Justice Center this week provided expert testimony on the importance of government authorities complying with the Michigan and U.S. Constitutions.  The Constitution limits government authority when it exercises power in ways that infringe on free expression, freedom of religious conscience, and the decisions made by parents to protect their children.  The Justice Center participated in a hearing held by the House Education Reform Committee on proposed legislation filed in response to state authorities implementing vaccination rules beyond what is allowed by state law, and in ways the Justice Center contends infringe on the Constitutional liberties of Michigan citizens.

The Detroit Free Press quoted Senior Legal Counsel Erin Mersino of the Great Lakes Justice Center.  The Justice Center will continue to ensure government authorities comply with the Constitution. Good governance under the Rule of Law. We can do this!!!
