2 Corinthians 12:9,10 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
We live in the up side down inside out kingdom. Many things in full operation are doing so as an opposite of what we see with our eyes and experience in the world around us. The proud and the arrogant are humbled. The broken are lifted up out of brokenness, and those who are weak gain strength.
Prayer may seem like a weak place, but it is actually our place close to our Father’s heart of great strength. When we seek our Father, we find him and we find His provision. When we agree with Him in prayer, we know that His plans are already in motion. The Earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord, just as the water covers the sea. Our job is to abide in Him and in His love. The Lord is in the process of helping us to be much more sensitive, and much more engaged. We will know more and more that “the battle belongs to the Lord” and that we are engaged on the winning side. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Amen!
