“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

We are quite simply extremely blessed! As His people we are eternally secure in the covering and cleansing power of the blood of Jesus. We rest daily under ALL that our heavenly Father is. These truths are something we should not take for granted, but instead we should let them be a trigger that causes us to overflow with thanksgiving. As we spend time in the Word our Father also continually reveals His heart towards us. We are drawn daily into His love and care for us. One of the greatest ways this happens is as we take ahold of what He has promised. Our Father wants us to know that He is the eternal Father who keeps His word.He is always after us. You may not feel as though you are experiencing His pursuit of your heart at this moment, but be assured it is happening! His word in us and His promises active and alive in our hearts are working every moment to draw us into Him and into a place of increasing FAITH, where our unbelief is being crushed and instead replaced by His Faithfulness!!

Let’s look at one promise in particular: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14) We are hearing this promise a lot. In our minds we agree with the words, but have our hearts really embraced what our Father is saying? Our hearts need to be totally captured and penetrated by the magnitude of what Father is extending to us in this promise. Humble yourselves, pray, seek my face, turn from your wicked ways. Then, I WILL hear from heaven and I WILL heal your land. Can you feel this promise start to burn in your heart? Spend time with Him today and let it become a fire!
